THE WONDERFUL LAND IN THE AREA OF MOUNT CONERO

Our holiday rental accommodation is surrounded by the Conero Park and it is the access point to the main hiking trails to be covered on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback. You can walk directly from your room to the most famous panoramic points of the area: Pian dei Raggetti, Belvedere Nord, Belvedere Sud and Passo del Lupo.

You can reach the top or walk along “Traversata del Conero” path up to the hamlet of Poggio di Ancona. If you want to use e-bikes and electric scooters during your stay, a free charging point is available.

Sirolo boasts the most beautiful beaches of Riviera del Conero, from the wildest ones like Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle, to the more touristy ones like San Michele, Sassi Neri and Urbani. Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle is a must-see destination reachable either by ferry or by canoe which can be rented from one of the nearby beaches.

Beaches of Conero

SIROLO, NUMANA, ANCONA

Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle: the wildest and most wonderful beach in Sirolo. Its colours, from the deep blue of the sea to the emerald green of the coast, make it a must-see. The beach is accessible only by sea. You can either rent a boat or use the boat service. This wild, unspoiled beach is completely free-of-charge. Bring some food and water if you want to stay longer.

Spiaggia Urbani: it’s a lovely, crescent shaped gravel beach characterised by a cave on the side of the small bay. There are both beach establishments and stretches of beach which are free-of-charge. A unique bay surrounded by the greenery of the mount with a crystal clear sea is accessible either on foot or by shuttle bus.

Spiaggia dei Sassi Neri: it’s a long, wide and wild beach at the foot of Sirolo, a destination for many naturists. It’s mainly composed of stones and dark gravel. Reachable on foot from Parco della Repubblica in Sirolo or by public transport.

Spiaggia di San Michele: it’s made up of cliffs rolling down to the sea to create this marvellous beach. Separated from Sassi Neri beach by a stretch of rocky coastline, it is partly free-of-charge but also has some beach establishments. Made up of gravel and pebbles.

La Spiaggiola: an enchanting shallow beach at the foot of Numana with a characteristic landscape reaching the mount and the coast up to the beach establishments and the tourist port. Fine sand and gravel, perfect for families. Reachable by car, on foot from Numana or by public transport.

MAGIC PANORAMA ON MOUNT CONERO

FDO is a magic hamlet of Sirolo just 1 kilometre from the town, and extends to the foot of the mount, accompanying visitors with the sweet sound of nature and wakening them with birdsong and the rustling of leaves, which is perfect for those who love nature and hiking, surrounded by greenery. On approaching the centre of Sirolo, you can walk through this fantastic village and enjoy its peculiarities both by day and night.

During the day you can walk through the lively lanes and overlook the majestic and romantic view of Mount Conero.

This incredible horizon always offers visitors a romantic sunset.

To conclude the evening you can stop and have a cocktail or an ice-cream in one of the many gorgeous bars in the main square of Sirolo, refreshed by the sea breeze.

Hiking and cycling on Mount Conero

EXPERIENCE NATURE

Cycling lovers will certainly enjoy our Riviera that offers many naturalistic paths of which there are about twenty on Mount Conero alone.

The building is located at the entrance of some of the main paths of Mount Conero, such as the amazing Traversata del Conero.

Taking path n. 301, you leave from the southernmost side of the mount and cross panoramas and green woods up to the northernmost part, to Poggio. Highly recommended both by bicycle and on foot. You can bring your bicycles in the building and use our recharge point.

Discover our hinterland

A few minutes by car to reach Camerano, a town well-known for the production of Rosso Conero wine and for its underground pathways. In 15 minutes you can reach the Basilica of the Holy House of Loreto. The legend says that the angels transported the house of the Virgin Mary here.
Impossible not to mention Recanati, the native village of Leopardi and the places that inspired his poems. You will have the opportunity to visit his library and his house.
For lovers of mediaeval villages, at a few kilometres’ distance, it is possible to visit the towns of Osimo and Offagna. Moving inland you can reach the wonderful Frasassi Caves for a breathtaking experience. Moving southwards, nature lovers will enjoy the magic of the Sibillini views.
